On June 9th, it was reported to Police that overnight a 1997 Dodge Dually Truck with BC License DV4405 as stolen from the gated complex located at 15 Solana Key Court in Osoyoos. The truck is white with a blue stripe on the cab and has a big blue box on the back.
On June 9th, a resident on the 100 block of 42nd Ave, found that over the previous week thieves had cut a wire fence and broken into a utility trailer. The thieves stole tools from the trailer. There have been several thefts of tools over the last few weeks in the Osoyoos area. On June 10th, a property owner observed a man stealing his tractor. The owner blocked the tractor as Police responded to the scene on 100th Ave in Osoyoos. Police arrived and arrested Jake SOROS age 27 from Oliver. SOROS was held in custody to attend court and answer to criminal charges for the Theft of Tractor and for being in Osoyoos contrary to Judicial conditions.
On June 12th, Police received a report that a Green 1996 Volvo 850 had been stolen. The car was later found burnt out at 45th St and Hwy 3. If anyone has any information related to this Theft and Arson please call the Osoyoos RCMP.
Between 5:00 and 6:00 pm, on afternoon of June 15th, unknown suspects(s) broke out the passenger side window of a white 2004 F-350 truck parked outside the Diamond Steakhouse in Osoyoos. The thieves stole a cell phone from the truck while the family was having dinner in the restaurant.
