On June 17, 2014 at approximately 01:25 Hours Oliver Detachment members were conducting patrols for impaired drivers in the downtown area of Oliver when they had occasion to check a vehicle which had been reported stolen out of Penticton on June 14, 2014.

The driver of the vehicle, a 34 year old female of NFA, Penticton, was subsequently arrested and will be appearing in Penticton Provincial Court today to face charges related to being in possession of the stolen vehicle and a series of other Criminal Code offences.  This subject is well known to police and is currently before the courts on charges of Theft, Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Stolen Property and a series of Breach Recognizance offences.
