A fire destroyed a house in Penticton on Saturday night leaving residents without a place to call home.
Emergency crews dispatched at 10:22pmĀ to a home on fire – one house south of 613 Martin Street – between Eckhardt Ave and White Ave.
“There were no reported injuries, everyone in the house got out,” said an RCMP officer.
The fire may have been started by a candle says a resident of the house.
Neighbouring homes did not appear to be affected by the flames. At least one pet was killed. Fire is under investigation
