Playing bagpipes is no easy thing. Bagpipes require much stamina to play for any extended period of time, and most beginners can only play for a few minutes before having to take a break. When playing bagpipes, the piper must be careful to keep the amount of air coming out of the pipes constant, or the sound will waver and change pitch.
