Environment Canada is inviting residents to provide input on the recovery plans for a number of species at risk in the Regional District Okanagan-Similkameen area. Two open houses will be hosted to talk about some of the species (see list below) and get feedback from residents related to a number of areas that are highlighted in the recovery plans: where the species are found, the types of habitat they need, the activities likely to destroy their habitat, and ways we can help the species to survive or recover.
