2014-06-08 at ~ 15:09 hours, Oliver Detachment RCMP responded to a panic/hold-up alarm at Spud’s Liquor Store at 6341 Main St. While en route, members were updated by the complainant that the lone male had run away on Main St travelling North. The male suspect was described as approximately 5’10” and approximately 260 pounds and wearing a black ski mask, white shorts, a black t-shirt, and a large black bag. The thief stole a quantity of cash from the till and fled once the panic alarm was set off. No weapon is indicated in this robbery. Police patrols were not successful in locating the suspect however, video of the Robbery was obtained and still photographs from that video are provided to the media for release to the public in anticipation that information from the public may assist in solving this crime.
