No Room At The Inn: Osoyoos Pound Unable To Take Animals From Oliver
Oliver recently requested a rental lease agreement with the Town of Osoyoos for use of the dog pound facilities. The Town of Oliver is seeking options for the provision of dog pound services.
Osoyoos already has a similar agreement in place with the regional district, and as such, has a higher probability of reaching its maximum capacity. The request from the Town of Oliver was denied at last week’s council meeting. The Osoyoos Pound has six stalls for cats and dogs. A caging unit was recently purchased for smaller animals, adding an additional six stalls. www.osoyoosdailynews.com
