Greg Norton of Loose Bay society takes receipt of another cheque from community groups and organizations who are helping with the “water project”

This time Maureen Doerr, President of the Oliver Rotary Club passes on a cheque.

Kiwanis gave $3500 earlier and Norton says groups like the Cherry Growers, BCFGA and other groups are chipping in. Norton says he appreciates the community support.

Each local dollar donated is being matched by the Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust. (SIDIT)

Today’s work accomplished a concrete pad for the booster pump to push water up a 1 kilometer long hill to the campsite.
