The two shows in Osoyoos this weekend were very well received by appreciative audiences. Comments like “we loved it”, “hilarious” and “I have to get my friends to see this” were common refrains as audience members left the theatre.
The numbers in Osoyoos were below average for our spring productions. We expect that being later in the year than usual means more competition with other events. In addition, we are aware that many people are waiting to see the show in the new Frank Venables Theatre in Oliver (on May 30 and 31 at 8:00 pm). Tickets are still available at Sundance Video in Oliver and at Your Dollar Store With More in Osoyoos.
We encourage anyone who has never seen a production by our local theatre group to check this out. As usual, it’s an excellent show and a great event for a date night or to take friends to who may be visiting from out of town.
