OLIVER – Attorney General and Minister of Justice Suzanne Anton will be
joined by Osoyoos Indian Band Chief Clarence Louie, local dignitaries and
project partners for the Okanagan Correctional Centre (OCC)
groundbreaking ceremony. The OCC is a project that will boost the local
economy and create family-supporting jobs in the region.

Members of the Osoyoos Indian Band will perform a welcoming ceremony, and dignitaries will join in a symbolic ‘turning of the sod’.

Special Instructions: The site is located off Highway 97, approximately
1km within the Senkulmen Business Park, which is 7km north of Oliver.
Parking is available along Enterprise Way. It is a construction site,
therefore appropriate footwear is recommended.
