OLIVER – Attorney General and Minister of Justice Suzanne Anton will be
joined by Osoyoos Indian Band Chief Clarence Louie, local dignitaries and
project partners for the Okanagan Correctional Centre (OCC)
groundbreaking ceremony. The OCC is a project that will boost the local
economy and create family-supporting jobs in the region.
Members of the Osoyoos Indian Band will perform a welcoming ceremony, and dignitaries will join in a symbolic ‘turning of the sod’.
