Our Grade 5 class did a “Yes U Can” awareness campaign Friday in front of Super Valu trying to increase self esteem within our community as a culminating activity with Family Life in our classroom.

Family Life in grade 5 is administered by Gladys Brookes, a registered nurse who discusses puberty, self-esteem, and peer pressure. Our demonstration is a way we can try to share some positive energy and thoughts to community members. We are hoping to get 100 honks in 1 hour and we did for sure.
