Youth ambassadors look forward to the future

Anatasia Levant

Grade 11 – 17 years old – home schooled wants to finish her pre-university studies at SOSS. Daughter of Robin and Blair Levant. Future author or costume designer. Sees the Ambassadors Programme as a way of serving community and learning social skills

Simi Mand

Grade 11 – 16 years – works at Super Valu. Wants to learn to speak to larger crowds and time management. Plans on becoming a pharmacist. Daughter of Paramjeet and Charnjit Mand.

Kaylee Lesmeister

Grade 11 – 16 years old – daughter of Sheila and Gerald Lesmeister. Plans to take a year off for travel after graduation – desires to enter general studies at university and pursue further education in musical theatre. Looks forward to involvement in the Ambassador programme.

Organizer Lori Martine says the Ambassadors programme still looking for sponsors and support in the community. The new year has been challenging with not as much interest from students as in previous years.

Plans call for a coming out event in June for sponsors and candidates.
