As a mom my heart breaks everytime I hear of a child suffering and ill.
A photo on Facebook on the Even dance page tore even harder at my heart strings – little Chloe in her dance costume.
I do not know Chloe or her family — but being a small town I know all about her struggles.
My daughter Avery has been dancing since she was 3 years old- and seeing Chloe all smiles in her costume reminded me of her early days in dance and the huge excitment of being able to dance on the “big stage”… And every little dancer deserves that opportunity.
With this thought in mind my daughter Avery and I were hoping we could make this come true. With the help of Eve Noonan owner of Even Dance- where both Chloe and Avery dance- I asked that the other dancers and performers put together a recital “All About a Girl” so that Chloe has the chance to be on the big stage.
We have combined the recital with a fundraiser for Chloe- our honest hope is that she will be well enough to participate.
This fundraiser recital will take place May 24, 2014 at 4:00pm in the Frank Venables Theatre. Tickets are $20.00 and available at
