I am voicing my opinion on what should become a non issue.
Highway signs are a way of life in our community. I do not find them offensive or distracting, yes some of them could be done better but it is free country
The gentleman who wrote about the signs in west Kelowna is right on the money flashing and changing neon signs are distracting.
My daughter in law who was here recently thought that the controversy was a bit one sided and enjoys driving through the Okanogan and finding fruits and vegetables in season.
The folks who grow these product’s have a limited time to sell and need exposure.
Yes folks look at the street and avenue name change, 21% of the eligible voters passed that mess and now everyone has to live with it.
I urge those who will be affected by this totalitarianism (beaurocricy) to get out and be heard even though it is one of the busiest times for Orchardists, take the time to be heard.
