Laird Smith is younger than me but has a better memory. He brings a unique perspective to matters rural in Oliver.

Laird reminded me that it has been about a year since we started publishing his reports on a fairly regular basis.

It was actually April 5/13 when Laird responded to something I had forwarded on the Park Rill.

On the subject of Park Rill some residents reminded me of just when the high water started to flow last year – it was in the early spring.

There is no sign, at the moment, of a lot of water wanting to head to the river. But there is always tomorrow.
