Boutilier will be passing through Osoyoos tomorrow (Friday, April 18) as part of a unicycle ride to Ottawa to call for action on climate change. I will be meeting with the staff of MP Alex Atamanenko and others when I arrive around 4pm at the Wander Cafe in Osoyoos.
Much more info on the ride and campaign is at www.unityfortheclimate.ca
I have embarked on a long journey from Victoria BC to Ottawa to encourage unity between constituents and elected leaders across the political spectrum in order to facilitate action on climate change and related issues. I aim to establish clear directives for progress to address this crisis in advance of the 2015 federal election. The peaceful campaign is non-partisan and focused on solutions.
I am also welcoming others passionate citizens to join me for any portion of the trip and working with a range of individuals and organizations to contribute to local events and rallies in communities along the route. I am hoping to meet with MPs, MLAs and other elected officials before arriving in Ottawa for the beginning of the fall session of Parliament.
