• D.A.R.E. stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education.
• D.A.R.E. is a 10 week in-school program for children in grades 5 and 7.
• D.A.R.E. is taught by specially trained uniformed Police Officers.
• The D.A.R.E. program teaches kids how to effectively resist drugs and violence by teaching them the personal skills and techniques necessary to deal with peer pressure and media influence.
