A new wildfire near Inkaneep is causing smoke that is visible from Osoyoos and Oliver. Crews are on site responding now. The fire is estimated at 20 hectares in size.

This fire is not related to the prescribed burning that has been taking place on the Osoyoos Indian Reserve over the last few weeks.
