Some of the beautiful bling available at the Oliver Grandmother’s for Africa Spring Bling event on Saturday, April 12th from 9 to 2 pm at the Oliver United Church.  New and used jewelry and accessories will be available for sale and some exceptional bargains can be had.   Swarovski crystal rings and earrings at clearance prices make up one of the more exciting buys.   All proceeds go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation to support the heroic African grandmothers who are raising children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.  These women are the front line agents of change who emerged, almost miraculously, as one solid wall of protection for the next generation of young Africans.  Oliver Grandmothers are with them every step of the way.
