Gifts bestowed by Sage Valley Voices

Digital ImageThe Sage Valley Voices Community Choir recently donated some of the proceeds from its 2013 Christmas concert to the Oliver United Church and Sumac Ladies Auxiliary.

Choir President Lois Bzdel presents a cheque for $600.00 to Anita Carr, representative for the Oliver United Church and $100.00 to Pat Chown, President of the Sumac Ladies Auxillary.  The donations help fund the church’s Sunshine Soup Kitchen, Food Cupboard program and other outreach programs.

The choir is now in rehearsals for their Spring 2014 concert “MOMENTS TO REMEMBER”, which will be held at the United Church on Saturday April 26th 7PM and Sunday April 27th 2:30PM.  Thank you to everyone for their support and look forward to seeing you at our next concert.
