The Firehall Brewery – Sid, Brew Chief says the idea to put a microbrewery in Oliver’s “Old Firehall” was born of father and son. We heard a local bootlegger …was selling the 1000-litre brewing system he had in his basement, and soon enough, we were busy installing it into cavernous basement cellar with the help of friends, family, and a couple hard working employees. Since completion they have been crafting draught ales, again with the help of friends and family (and a canoe paddle!). We brew small batches, but we like it that way!
