Co-Chairs of the Double O Quilt Guild, Lynda Gallicano and Margaret Helgeson, recently delivered two quilts and a table runner made for the South Okanagan General Hospital “Quiet Room”.  The quilts were presented to Trudy Demorest of the Desert Valley Hospice Society and Maureen Parrott of SOGH.  They were very much appreciated and will add another touch of comfort to the Quiet Room.

Speaking of quilting… please mark your calendar to attend the Quilt Show “Quilts and Beyond” to be presented by the Double O Quilters Guild at the Oliver Community Centre on Friday, April 11^th from 10am – 6pm and Saturday April 12^th from 10am – 4 pm.  There will be quilts and fabric arts, demonstrations, a quilters’ challenge, silent auction, guest quilters, refreshments and door prizes.  Admission by donation.
