A special concrete mix is used to spray coat the sides of the irrigation canal to extend its life. Water is a precious commodity and the ravages of climate take its toll on this aging structure. Today, work started on the east side section of the ditch at the end of Panorama Crescent to prevent leakage and damage to the walls. With the good weather, the job should be completed in a couple of days, well in time for the start of the irrigation season.
