A bridge crossing at Green Avenue in Penticton from the city to land on the Penticton Indian Reserve. What do you think it would cost to fund such a project covering four lanes of highway, a river channel, a hike and bike path and flood control berms. $10 million – ??

The federal government recently granted $500 thousand to the PIB for engineering drawings. What does the province say about this plan? Who would pay for it? If the Ministry of Highways would have to pay would they not suggest that another crossing is not as wise as coming in from one of the ends – Skaha or Green Mtn roads?
