Greetings to Artisans and Artists in all Media:
From the Oliver Community Arts Council
We want to get you thinking spring! And what better way than with a colourful arts market for you to celebrate whatever artistic expression you enjoy!
The Spring Arts Faire is back for its third year. If you participated last year, it was a fun day with a warm, friendly vibe. This year, we’re moving it to a Saturday — April 5, at the Oliver Community Centre, from 10 am to 4 pm, and bringing in Oliver Bakery as our lunch caterer. All this with last year’s pricing!
We are open to all those who make or perform their own art: potters, photographers, musicians, artisans in iron, wood and jewelry, fibre and fabric artists, authors, painters, and more! We are also open to societies and clubs that promote artistic expression: selling concert tickets, registering art classes, writers’ clubs, music teachers, and so on. You may choose to sell, demonstrate, educate, or display. Registration is open to both members and non-members of the local arts council, non-profits and businesses, individuals, families or a big arty bunch. While we include a range of arts and culture expression, we do want to celebrate YOUR art. We must regretfully decline registrations from franchises selling wares made by others.
Cost for a booth is $30 for arts council members and $35 for non-members. A registration package, including info sheet, is available by emailing OliverCAC@gmail.com or phoning Sally at 250-498-0104. **
Please feel free to pass on the information to any artists you know. Contact the arts council soon to reserve a table – late registrations are being accepted but a call or email to hold your space would be appreciated.
Hope to see you there!
