On March 18th, the South Okanagan Toastmasters Club #7791 was proud to host the Area 38 International Speech and Evaluation Contest.
Six people competed; 2 from Oliver and 4 from Pentiction. Rachel Allenbrand, president of South Ok Toastmasters #7791, placed 1st in the speech contest, and Linda Johnson was 2nd.
Verlaine Murphy won the evaluation contest.
Next will be the division contest, which the South Okanagan Toastmaster’s #7791 will also be hosting, on April 12th at 1pm
