SOUTH OKANAGAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE’S OYSTER BREW PARTY

Enjoy live entertainment, freshly shucked oysters from West Coast Oyster farmers along with craft beer tastings, local food vendors and cider tastings.

Results from Canada’s inaugural Craft Beer and Oyster Pairing Competition results announced.

Get Shucked- For Oyster and Wine Connoisseurs

Held on the beautiful roof-top terrace at Spirit Ridge Resort, enjoy freshly shucked oysters from West Coast oyster farmers with wine tastings from the winning wineries of Canada’s inaugural Oyster Wine Competition. Canada’s best oyster wines and oysters!  Limited to 75 guests.

SATURDAY APRIL 26th

Art of the Oyster Pearl Gala

With wine pairings from participating OOWA wineries 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm followed by live music, dancing & cash bar til midnight.  Guests are invited to dress up in the theme of fisherman/mermaid or with pearls for this Gala evening. Prizes for best dressed.

Enjoy oyster creations from the South Okanagan’s best restaurants and chefs along with wonderful wine pairings from Oliver Osoyoos wineries. Meet local West Coast Oyster farmers as they shuck their oysters along with stations from the Okanagan’s best  fishmongers: Codfathers and Buy the Sea.

At 9pm: Results from Canada’s Oyster Wine Competition announced.

For oyster and wine lovers this is one of the best events of the festival.

Freshly shucked oysters will be featured from oyster farmers Brent Petkau-’The Oysterman’, Effingham Oysters, Outlandish Shellfish Guild and local fishmongers Buy the Sea and Codfathers.
