The hornets played a well rounded game as they played solid defence holding highland’s best player to 29 points and not allowing him to dominate as he has done all year long. Gurk Dhaliwal was named player of the game as hit 11 three point shots( this may be a tournament record) enroute to a 50 point performance which helped the hornets cruise to a 25 point win 94-69. Malcolm Heinrichs played another solid game as he pulled down 10 rebounds and scored 21 points. Ravi bassi and navi Dhaliwal both played solid games as they frustrated the top player from highland all game long. The hornets will now play in the quarter final tomorrow 7:00pm versus #2 seed RC Palmer of Richmond.
