BC Coroners Service identifies motor vehicle incident victim
KELOWNA – The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman
who died after a motor vehicle incident near Oliver on Feb. 19, 2014.
She was Marissa Mae Louie, aged 19, of Oliver.
Ms. Louie was the driver and sole occupant of a car which left the
highway, hit a power pole and caught fire on Highway 97 South near Road
13, south of Oliver about 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 19. Ms. Louie was
transported to hospital by ambulance but was deceased on arrival at
hospital.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to
investigate this death.
