Cancellation Policy: Registration fees are refundable until May 1, 2014, with a $200 administration charge ($150 for Challenge Penticton Half). After May 1, 2014, fees are non-refundable; however, a $200 deferral to Challenge Penticton, Canada for the 2015 registration will be permitted ($150 for Challenge Penticton Half).
After some initial growing pains in 2013, the board for Challenge Penticton Canada is making plans for the next race this summer.
The final tally of the total number of athletes who participated in the August race was 920.
800 athletes are registered in 2014 from 16 countries, putting the race in a better position than at this time last year.
The Penticton Triathlon Race Society held its Annual General Meeting Monday, which included the election of directors and officials as well as a look at financial statements for 2013.

According to financial statements, the total cost for the triathlon was $1.1 million in 2013. Challenge Penticton admits to a deficit but has a positive cash flow at the moment.
