Suspicious death in Calgary – ten days ago – confuses police.

facebook barreira22Dennis Manual Barreira has been identified as the person found dead in a Southview  home in Calgary January 19th.

Police continue to request help to track the victim’s final hours. Police say the death is being investigated as a homicide.

The body of Barreira, 46, was found by a roommate in a home in the afternoon of Sunday. Police said Barreira was last heard from Saturday night, leaving 24 hours for police to piece together.

An autopsy was done on the 20th of January, but the cause of death has not being released.

Barreira has family in Calgary/Oliver who have been notified of his death.

Very little has been released on this case – the 2nd homicide of the year in Calgary.
