RIP Dennis Barreira

dennis22On Sunday January 19, 2014, Mr. Dennis Manuel Xavier Barreira of Calgary passed away suddenly at his home at the age of 45 years.

He was predeceased by his father Domingos; nephew Jason and aunts and uncles.

Dennis will be fondly remembered by his mother Isabel; brother Tony (Alex) and their children Natasha, Katrina and Angelina; brother Joe (Beatrice) and their children Melinda and Jenny (Mitch); brother Al; brother Manuel (Louise) and their child Walter; brother Silvio (Kim) and their children Darren and Tyler (Jaynell); brother Cas (Sharon) and his son Brady; sister Maria (Don) and their child Kiera and brother Dave (Michele) and their children Shelby and Brandon.

Dennis was a very hard worker and over the years worked for Goodall Rubber, Marcor, landscaping and road construction. He enjoyed gardening, landscaping, cooking, baking, playing cards with friends on the weekend and coming to Oliver to visit family and friends.

Donations are gratefully accepted for the Cancer Foundation, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Children’s Hospital.

Prayers will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church and mass will be celebrated by Fr. Neil Lustado at 11:00 A.M. Friday January 31, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church.
