After an examination of the burnt home at 8703 -92nd Ave in Osoyoos by Fire Investigators the cause of the blaze appears to be accidental.

The actual source of the fire is not detailed in this report.  The first started in the front of the house were much of the damage is visible.

Two people were airlifted out of Oliver with serious burn injuries on Friday.

RCMP and the BC Coroner’s Office say 52 year old Delene Hunter of Osoyoos died Saturday in Vancouver General Hospital.

The second occupant of the house fire at 8703-92nd Ave, Osoyoos, Mr. Sheldon HALL age 41, is currently in stable but serious condition at the VGH Burn Unit.

HALL sustained serious burns to approximately 35% to his body from the fire.
