Desert Valley Hospice Society directors receive a cheque in the amount of $4056 from Shoppers Drug Marts in Osoyoos and Oliver – the result of a 4 week fundraising effort supporting women’s health.

8th annual Hike for Hospice will be held Sunday May 4th, 2014.

Raise pledges to help support the important work of the Desert Valley Hospice Society, and then enjoy an invigorating / leisurely walk along the Hike and Bike Trail bordering the Okanagan River Channel in Oliver. The Hike is a wonderful way to honour the memory of a loved one, and to help the Society promote public awareness of issues relating to end of life care.  In 2013, the event was a tremendous success with approximately 100 people attending and raising over $12,000.
