Thieves Arrested

On January 13, 2014 at approximately 3:00 A.M., Keremeos RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in Olala. Here a female and a male, both from Keremeos, were arrested when it was observed that they were in the process of stealing licence plates from another vehicle. Further investigation has revealed that theses persons are responsible for an number of thefts and break ins, including mail thefts in the Keremeos and surrounding areas.

Multiple charges of theft are being recommended against the 27 year old female and the 31 year old male who both have extensive criminal records. The female has been released on several conditions while the male has been remanded in custody with his next appearance in Penticton Provincial Court on Thursday, January 16th
