The Eastlink Curling Centre was the site for the Zone 2 (Thompson Okanagan) Juvenile playdowns January 11^th and 12^th.  It was an entertaining 2 day event with many spectators enjoying some fantastic curling action.  There were 4 girls teams and 5 boys teams competing.  The winning foursomes both hail from Vernon.

 

Boys winners Thomas Love, skip, Eric Colwell, third, Brendan Chapple, second and Johnathan Schwartz, lead, Dean Chapple, coach.

 

Girls winners Erin Huitema, skip, Winter Harvey, third, Sarah Huitema, second and Megan McGillivray, lead, Kate Horne, coach.
