Location: Trailers north of and at rear of older farm house east of Hwy 97 down hill at Rd six. (seen in picture below)
Hot blaze – burned fast. Small house-trailer, truck and car near fire not damaged or threatened. Rural setting.
OFD Media release in April:
Flames had quickly engulfed the structure, but the fire department said no one was inside at the time of the blaze.
“It wasn’t safe enough for us to go inside,” said Oliver firefighter Rob Graham. “It was an exterior attack.”
“It is difficult being that it’s a trailer. There’s a lot of insulation in the floor. It moved from one end of the trailer to the other fairly quickly.”
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
