It may not look like much right now, but the building just off Main Street, Osoyoos, that was previously the office of former MLA John Slater, and before that, the Chalet Helvetia restaurant, is undergoing some major renovations. We are told it is due to be opened in early 2014 as a new restaurant, with a European, possibly Italian, cuisine.
