“Two weeks ago, I happened to be at Spirit Ridge in Osoyoos and caught this image against the setting sun. For me, the subtle colours and hues along with the diminishing shades of the hills and lake in the background, magnify and expand the meaning of this “Salute to the Sunset”. I invite you all to read into this picture whatever you like. There are also some special “hidden” aspects to the sculpture – the feathers, the coyote in the horse’s neck – see what else you can find.”
