Oliver’s first real snowstorm didn’t stop members of the Order of the Eastern Star from holding a hot dog and burger sale to raise funds for Lynnea Holmstrom.   Kind hearted shoppers stopped outside Super Valu, ate lunch and made their donations to assist the sick child and her family.  Seen here Peggy Robinson from Eastern Star presenting the proceeds of the BBQ to Leona Baptiste at the OIB office.  Many thanks to Super Valu for lending us their BBQ, donating gas and letting us have the supplies at a reduced price, also to the store staff who came out to buy burgers for their lunch.  Another example of community spirit in action.  $417.00 raised.
