Well it was a great game.  Bears: 88  Hornets: 66

The SOSS Hornets showed real signs of heart and character against a very strong opponent in Mt. Boucherie (Bears) a quad A school.

Down by 10 at the half the team were unable to hold off the Bears attack in the 2nd half as they fell 88-66. Gurk Dhaliwal had 23 points and Malcolm Heinrichs added 19 points in the loss. Gurk Dhaliwal, and Ravi Bassi were tournament all stars and for the weekend Malcolm Heinrichs, Gurk Dhaliwal and Gopinder Sandhu were named as player of the game.

The Hornets next action Wednesday night in Winfield versus George Elliot Secondary.

December 21st – Just two weeks to Alumni Day at SOSS. It should be a great day with volleyball starting it all off at 1:30pm and the Sr. Boys basketball team finishing the evening off at 6:30pm versus the past 5 year grads.

There will be a food donation box for the Oliver Food bank at the door, lets show our spirit and fill it up. If everyone brought just one item for it I am sure we can get at least 300+ items.
