There continues to be a number of thefts and incidents around the Jackpine Lane and Cottonwood Drive area in Osoyoos. Please report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or incidents to the Police as soon as possible so those responsible can be found and arrested.
On November 23rd, and 24th, thieves syphoned gas from the same vehicle overnight parked on the 5500 block of Lombardy Lane.
On November 25th, a number of crimes were reported to have happened over the weekend in Osoyoos;

A security camera set up outside of Luna Rosa Condo complex on Cottonwood Drive was stolen.

An F150 truck was stolen and a utility trailer was broken into at Kobau Lanes. The truck has since been recovered.

A radar detector was stolen from inside a vehicle parked behind the Eisenhut insurance office.

A company truck parked outside the Sage Pub had the passenger side window broken out and a briefcase stolen.
On November 29th, at approximately 10:00 am, Police, Ambulance, and Fire attended at a single vehicle accident on the Highway 3 on the Richter Pass. A pickup truck was heading up hill and lost control on the ice eventually flipping onto its side in the ditch. The three people in the truck were not injured and two were extricated from the truck by the Osoyoos Fire Department as they were unable to get out of the vehicle.
On November 30th, it was found that the gate at the end of Jackpine Lane had been damaged and left unlocked. It appears the chain securing the gate had been cut and a vehicle had gone through the gate.
