An Osoyoos construction worker was caught by police in possession of a “gift card” that he said had been given to him.
He had used it for food at Tim Horton’s and other locations. Cash used $102.40.
38 year old Massimo Robert Maximillion Dicicco of Osoyoos pled guilty to one charge of possession of stolen property under $5000 and sentence to 14 days in jail and six months of probation. Restitution ordered by Judge Gail Sinclair today at the Penticton Law Courts. He had been charged in early September.
The jail time to be served on weekends in the Osoyoos RCMP cells.
