“Viewer’s Choice” goes to fine art photographer, Merle Somerville
Oliver resident, Merle Somerville was awarded “Viewer’s Choice” for his photograph on canvas “Centurial Tree”. Merle exhibited four artworks during the two month art exhibit “Digital Autumn” at Little Straw Vineyards.
The exhibition was comprised of nine members of the Digital Art Okanagan (DAO) group, founded by Beth Haggerty of Summerland. The DAO group exhibits together 2-3 times per year throughout the Okanagan and is comprised artists who create using computer graphic software, digital photography and computer assisted painting.
