At lunch today, a fellow leaned over to me and said – “your comments seem to indicate a level of frustration”.

Apt comment.

If you notice that your pet lost notice or your want ad is not sticking on the blog – it is because people/readers/etc. are not using a first and last name.

I used to email each with that request but now the upgraded WordPress program is not advising me of each comment so replies are extremely difficult.

Several arguments with people recently who say  something like  “why should I give you my names – I can use that free classified site in Kelowna without giving my name” – “I like my privacy”.

My answer has been – that might be a good idea. (to use that one)

Discretion on your valuable contributions – 98% of the people commenting on ODN use that discretion that I asked for and it really looks good to see the full names of those appreciating another way to express themselves in a fast paced world or who just like to sell items from around the house.
