I am taking a small group from Oliver to the Philippines. The earthquake that hit the Philippines is where our family lived, and where my sons were born. As well, the Typhoon hit very close to home and a few of us have felt a strong heart to go out and help the victims of the typhoon.
On Saturday November 30th our team will be doing a fundraiser, going door to door to see if anyone would like yard work done or some simpler handy-man tasks in order to raise finances to go overseas.
We are collecting/ purchasing tarps, work gloves, flashlights w/batteries and first-aid kits. When we arrive into Cebu, Philippines we will be purchasing more supplies (that are found cheaper there) to bring into Tacloban, Leyte where we will be working.
If you would like more info about our team that is going and what we will be doing you can contact me at 250 689 1174
