The trial of an Osoyoos Indian Band member accused of killing his younger brother is now set to start in March

The jury trial was slated to start Monday in Penticton and last for three weeks, but according to the court registry, it was moved to March 10th, 2014.

Kyle Louie is charged with second degree murder in the death of his brother, 20-year-old Reece Louie, at a home on the reserve almost 3 years ago.

On Feb. 19, 2011, police arrived at a home on Black Sage Road and found Reece Louie lying outside the residence bleeding and suffering from serious injuries.

Kyle Louie was arrested that evening in Oliver and charged with aggravated assault, which was later upgraded to murder when the victim died.
