It is a dangerous mix… an accident waiting to happen.  My husband was just missed by a shot Sunday morning while walking the dogs.  The hunter was on the other side of the river.  Why are guns and recreation allowed in the same area?

I am talking about the area between Thorpe road bridge & Road 9 bridge.  What if one of my family members or someone else’s is shot?  This has been going on for years now & nothing has changed!  This is a residential area & people and their babies & pets walk along here every day, at all hours of the day.  If the path wasn’t created for people to be on… then it wouldn’t be an issue… but it was made for Oliver residents and so the hunters should be in areas where it is safe to hunt.

The bike path is my backyard… I don’t want guns firing into my yard… as they have in the past!
