Jack the missing Osoyoos pug has been found. (see below for first part of story).
Craig Johnson, of Oliver, who owns Kobau Plumbing spotted the brown Ford truck the dog was taken in, while driving around the neighbourhood around noon Monday. He said it was near to where the dog was taken.
When he knocked on the door of the residence, a girl answered. When he showed her the poster of the missing pug, she said a friend picked up the dog and brought him home.
She then gave the dog to Johnson, who took him to the home of Scott Nichol, a friend of Johnsons.
Johnson said he felt way happy he had found Jack.
Nichol said he felt great and he couldn’t wait to get home and see Jack.
As for the people who took him, he said he wants to go talk to them and ask them what they were doing with his dog.

Osoyoos resident Scott Nichol is missing his male black pug, named Jack stolen from outside the Country Squire he owns in Osoyoos.
“We are beside ourselves,” said Nichol. “I’ve had him for six or seven years. He’s a great little guy, a friend to anyone with food.”
Nichol said the theft took place around 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, when Jack walked out with two Country Squire residents.
He got a thorn in his foot and was limping, and as they were trying to pull it out, a middle-aged man pulled over in a newer brown Ford truck, with chrome bumpers
After talking to the residents and a neighbour, who saw the man put the dog in the truck, Nichol reported the theft to the Osoyoos RCMP.
