Saturday, November 16 from 10 am to 4 pm
No admittance charged but like in the past years organizers are asking to help the local food bank by bringing a non-perishable item to this great event. This years line up of vendors is quiet simply put stunning. New talent has been added to the breathtaking show of handmade local wares. It is always hard to find a gift especially for the man on your list. Metal work of different kinds are here to find. And if there is a sweet tooth in your family, well , you will find cherries covered in chocolate and preserves and jellies from our favourite vendors like Heather’s Kitchen or Jelly Junction. And don’t forget the maple man….Savoury goodies can also be found.
New are the glass works that will be showing, from stained glass ornaments to glass bowls and jewellery. Pottery and woodwork with its texture and colour are to be found. Golden honey and beeswax candles to brighten the cold winter days. But wait, home décor made from recovered materials will give you a new appreciation of reuse, get ready to be surprised.
Our local Double O Quilters and Spinners & Weavers are to be found as well with their wealth of unique items like Christmas ornaments, tree skirts, aprons and socks, mittens, scarfs, hats and many, many more items.
After you see everything at least once take some time to sit and enjoy the people you meet and the things and gifts you bought with a bowl of soup and a sandwich at the kitchen. Desserts are available too for the afternoon tea!
So don’t forget that food bank donation, bring a friend and head down to the best Arts and Craft sale on Nov.15-16. Come early to see the best display in town!
